The mission for this fundraising event is to help pay for the meal debt of the Tucson Unified School District as well as aiding the Casa De Los Ninos organization. According to the Education Data Initiative, the school meal debt for Arizona is $62,948,130. There are 348,500 children living with food insecurity in Arizona, 46,000 of them-children in Tucson. In the last fiscal year-Casa De Los Ninos’ programs have helped over 8,000 kids and 200 families.
We have organized four categories with 3-5 competitors in each category. Each competitor is allowed to participate in ONE category. Competitors will be selected based on their experience within the cannabis community as well as required to pay a fee to compete in a single category. The four competitions for this event will be a rolling contest, creation of an edible item, build-a-bong and a smoke off.
The event will have local vendors, medicated vendors, live music, food vendors & raffle prizes throughout the event. We are very excited to provide a safe space to further educate our community on the health benefits of using cannabis, CBD/CBG & aromatherapy products as we support our community in providing relief for the meal debt of the Tucson Unified School District & children aided by Casa De Los Ninos
